Inspiration
Photo-bashing is a technique that takes elements from different pictures and collages them together. I decided to create a sci-fi, space themed piece as it seems to fit the medium well.
Process
I started this piece by removing the background from the photos of the fish and astronaut using the selection tool to select the subject and cut it from the original background to place it on the new one.
Outcome
This outcome was created using the photobashing technique to combine aspects from a group of images to produce a piece of art.
Improvements
This piece could be improved by matching the brightness of each combined image more closely as some of the fish from the same image have drastically different brightness which is also different from the brightness of the astronaut. Changing them all to be more similar would make the piece more cohesive and give a more finished appearance.
