Assets
When looking for assets I was looking for distressed or old looking items to furnish the house and add the dystopian theme to the environment and tech or electronic items to keep the sci-fi theme present.
I wanted to furnish the cabin with realistic furniture so I went for mostly wooden tables and crates with the exception of the two metal workbenches.

I used this asset pack to build my cabin, there were drawbacks to its use as its a medieval pack and the cabin is set in modern day or slightly in the future but it was the best option of the limited free building assets.

Decals
I only used two decals in my environment one to make the doormat that I made out of a plane and a carpet texture dirty by adding a mud decal and another to place a piece of paper on the table upstairs.
